Learn
Learn it.
Structured lessons and practical activities designed around how people actually learn and use African languages.
Learn to speak with confidence, understand the culture behind the words, and stay connected to where you come from.

Every language carries a world. We're building to keep those worlds within reach.
01 / Why we exist
Before LangMaster became a product, there was a story happening in families across generations.
Something is being lost.
Her grandmother
speaks it fluently.
The language comes naturally — in greetings, stories, prayers, jokes and everyday life.
Her mother
understands it.
But when spoken to, she responds mostly in English. The language is understood more than it is used.
She
barely understands it.
A language once spoken every day has become something she recognises, but can no longer confidently call her own.
Migration, urbanisation, dominant languages and distance from home can slowly change what gets spoken around the family table. For many people in the diaspora, culturally grounded learning can also be difficult to access.
But the story can change.
02 / What we believe
Language · Culture · Identity
Learn to understand, speak and communicate confidently.
Understand the stories, expressions, customs and meaning behind the words.
Reconnect with something deeper than vocabulary.
Language is what we teach.
Culture gives it meaning.
Identity is what we help you rediscover.
03 / The ecosystem
Everything we build connects back to one mission: keeping language, culture and identity within reach.

The people who keep language alive
We call them
Languages survive because people keep speaking them, sharing them, correcting one another, laughing in them and passing them forward.
A language was never meant to live inside a textbook.
It lives between people — in greetings, jokes, corrections, stories, celebrations and ordinary conversations that become part of who we are.
I learn it.
I speak it.
I pass it on.

The Root Keeper Manifesto
Every learner who chooses to speak.
Every parent who chooses to teach.
Every friend who chooses to encourage.
Every person who refuses to let the language stop with them.
Together, we are
ROOT
KEEPERS.
Learning what came before us. Speaking it today. Making sure someone after us can speak it tomorrow.
05 / Our Mission
Africa → The World
Where we're going
We started with a simple question: what would it look like if African languages had technology built for their future?
Our starting point
AFRICA
WORLD.
Rooted here.
Built to travel.
Our ambition is not to make African languages fit technology built elsewhere. It is to build technology around the people, cultures and realities those languages belong to — and make it useful anywhere in the world.
From home to everywhere
But language has always had the power to make distance feel smaller. LangMaster is being built for the child learning at home, the adult reconnecting years later, and the family raising the next generation somewhere far from where their story began.
One language
Many places. One connection.

What the mission requires
PRESERVE
Build modern ways for African languages to be learned, practised and carried forward by the people who inherit them.
RECONNECT
Help Africans at home and across the diaspora reconnect with the language, culture and context that shape identity.
EXPAND
Build technology rooted in African realities, capable of serving people and communities wherever they are in the world.
This is bigger than an app
In our homes. In our communities. In technology. Across borders. And in the hands of the generations that come after us.
Built in Nigeria(Africa). Made for the world.
