LANGMASTER LTD ("LangMaster", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal information when you use the LangMaster website, our mobile applications when released, and other products, features, content, and services provided by LangMaster.

By accessing or using LangMaster, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

LangMaster is an African language and cultural learning platform operated by LANGMASTER LTD, a company incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide, personalize, secure, and improve LangMaster.

We collect information through the following methods:

• Directly from you: when you register, complete onboarding, update your profile, contact support, participate in the Village Square, or use learning features.
• Automatically: through cookies, analytics, application logs, device technologies, and security monitoring.
• Authentication providers: where you choose to use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
• Payment providers: where payment confirmation or subscription status is received from Paystack.

We may use your information to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage your account.
• Personalize courses, lessons, and learning recommendations.
• Maintain progress, streaks, XP, badges, and achievements.
• Power AI-assisted learning and conversation features.
• Process subscriptions and confirm payments.
• Operate the Village Square, Root Profiles, connections, Gongs, challenges, leaderboards, and community features.
• Send service, security, learning, and retention notifications.
• Respond to support requests and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor fraud, abuse, security threats, and policy violations.
• Measure platform performance and improve our services.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

LangMaster provides AI-powered learning experiences using infrastructure managed by LangMaster.

AI conversations and chat history may be processed and stored to provide learning continuity, personalized feedback, translation, writing assistance, cultural explanations, quality assurance, platform security, and service improvement.

We do not currently use third-party AI providers to process user conversations. Where this changes, we will update this Policy and provide appropriate information about the service providers involved.

Payments and subscription transactions are securely processed through Paystack.

LangMaster does not store your complete debit or credit card details. Payment information is collected and processed by Paystack in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.

We may receive transaction-related information such as payment status, transaction reference, subscription plan, billing cycle, amount, currency, and payment date.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve LangMaster.

These technologies may help us:

• Keep you signed in.
• Remember your preferences.
• Protect accounts and detect suspicious activity.

LangMaster may store and process information using Amazon Web Services infrastructure.

We apply appropriate administrative, organizational, and technical measures to protect information stored within our cloud infrastructure. These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption, monitoring, backups, and restricted administrative access.

LangMaster is designed for users in Nigeria and other countries around the world.

Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries where LangMaster or its service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws in your country.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that international data transfers are protected through appropriate contractual, organizational, and legal safeguards.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide and maintain LangMaster services.
• Keep your learning history and account available.

LangMaster is intended for users aged 13 years and older.

Children under 13 may use LangMaster only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Because LangMaster does not collect dates of birth during registration, parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that children use the service appropriately.

If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected without required parental consent, we may take steps to delete the information or restrict the account.
